What type of reports are available?
You can view Beam clicks and Beam sends. A Beam click is when somebody clicks on the Beam icon but decides not to click the send button. A Beam send is when somebody clicks the send button. You can view clicks and sends by URL, by user location and by tag. You can select different date ranges. The default view for a report is 30 days.
Can I export reports?
Yes, reports can be exported in PDF format.
I want to report on a number of specific Beams how can I do it?
To create a group of Beams to report on attach a tag to each of the Beams. You can do this when you create a Beam or add the tags directly to your code. Remember to make sure that your tags are identical.
What is a tag?
A tag is a name given to a group of Beams. Tags are used to sort Beams into groups so that effective reports can be generated.
How does a tag work?
When a Beam icon is clicked, or a Beam is sent, an instruction is sent to your account triggering a hit to the tag. You can create a new tag via the Beam generator or by adding them directly to the Beam code on your site. Your account will recognise the tag when it is triggered and add it to your reports.
Are my tags saved?
Yes, as you set tags they are added to your reports. A drop down menu above the tag box in the Beam Generator contains all of your existing tags. If you are adding tags to your site code, please make sure they are spelt exactly as they are on your system, if they are not a new tag will be generated.
Can I enter more than one tag at a time?
Yes, use commas to separate your tags, they can also be more than one word.
Can I edit my tags?
No, a tag cannot be edited once you have created it. You can however create as many new tags as you need.
Can I delete my tags?
No, tags cannot be deleted from the system once a report has been generated.
